Submit a Film

Short Films of 30-minutes or less in the following genres are accepted: narrative, documentary, animation, experimental.

No nudity, excessive violence or excessive language. 

Our Dates & Deadlines for Submissions:

Opening Date- February 1, 2026

Earlybird Deadline- April 30, 2026

Regular Deadline-June 30,2026

Late Deadline- August 31,2026

Notification Date- October 1, 2026 

Event Date- October 10, 2026 

Rules & Terms

Only a completely finished product accepted (including editing, sound, and color.)

All films must be produced within the past two years.

There is no premiere requirement.

Entries must be in English or subtitled/dubbed in English.

It is the responsibility of the filmmaker to clear all rights before your film screens at the festival. As the filmmaker, you indemnify and hold harmless Lake Oswego Film Festival from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.

By submitting you agree to grant the festival the right to use film images promotional purposes.
